Big Talents being seen at NYFW: The Shows. Canadian-Japanese Designer Dan Liu shows his SS17 Collection last Saturday during NYFW with an impactful Parisian atmosphere. His collection shows immense attention to detail. The Dan Liu show created a Parisian vibe throughout the venue while the audience was presented with roses and enjoyed Liu's appearance on stage sipping coffee and adding to the show.

Dan Liu's decision to go back to Japan and study fashion after having explored a different business path first, paid off 20 years later when he made it to NYFW: The Shows not once, but a second time. Liu interviews with CCTV America’s Michelle Makori and mentions that one of his biggest milestones was to be accepted by NYFW. "Thousands of designers want to be at NYFW: The Shows, but only a hand-full gets accepted," he states.

The hard work and collaboration with MVN Intl. Group (Maritta Viola) pays off as Dan Liu does not only receive international recognition, but also notices an immense increase in sales and revenue. Dan Liu expresses that through NYFW: The Shows, he sees a "five times bigger business than for the past twenty years." This translation of creativity into commercial success is definitely a dream for any designer.
